Flights

Almería airport is about 20 minutes by car from the city centre and is served by an ever increasing number of budget, charter and scheduled flights from all over Europe. Cheap flights to Almería via Madrid or Barcelona are available with Iberia and Spanair.

Trains & buses

Pick-up service

Meeting Point offers a pick-up service from the airport and the city centre bus and train station. We will pick you up and take you to your accommodation.

  • Almería bus & train station pick-up: 15€ per person
  • Almería airport pick-up: 25€ per person

Arrival times

Students are required to give all flight details and arrival times to Meeting Point, at least 1 week before arrival. If we have arranged to pick you up, you are responsible for informing us about any delays to your arrival time. Meeting Point cannot be held responsible for not picking you up if your arrival time has changed for the initial given time. Our pick-up/drop-off service runs from 6am to 12am.

If we are not notified of flight details and arrival times, we cannot be held responsible for not picking the student up, even if this optional extra has been requested.
